Phillipos George & Co (The Firm) is a professional Chartered Accountancy firm headquartered in Bengaluru, India, with branches at Mysore, Madikeri, Calicut and Ernakulam. The Firm traces its origins to 1967, when it was founded by Wg. Cdr. Phillipos under the name Phillipos & Company. In 2025, the firm underwent a significant transformation, adopting the name Phillipos George & Co pursuant to the merger of George Joseph & Company, one of the oldest and reputed firms in southern India with us. George Joseph & Company was established in 1956 by the eminent Chartered Accountant, Mr. George Joseph.
As a professional Chartered Accountancy firm, Phillipos George & Co is regulated by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) which is India’s premier professional accounting body. It regulates the Indian accounting profession, setting standards, conducting examinations, and enforcing professional and ethical conduct among its members.

The Firm’s large client base includes local subsidiaries of global entities, large and small Indian corporate bodies, and high net-worth individuals. The Firm is empaneled with Indian Regulatory Authorities and handles statutory central audits of public sector banks and large public sector undertakings (PSUs).
